Heyo!

My name is…not as important as my journey. I’m on a journey to return to my KY roots — as in to the foods, crafts, and general “living local” that would make my Granny and Mamaw proud. Granny Rose was a real person, and I’m doing my best to live up to the title.

My friends and I joke that the “granny era” + my general dislike of most people and social interactions has led to what we call the “bog witch life.” Its ok — I am a bog witch living my very best bog witch life…just in a city. My bog’s name is Beulah, by the way. Beulah the Bog.

However, I’m also very much a 2024 gal. I love my Kindle, I love TikTok, and I love true crime and cult documentaries. I’m a regular person — who is trying to save every dollar I can, spend those dollars locally when I must, and enjoy the shit out of life in between.

This space will be a hodge-podge of stuff. Part witchery. Part cannery. Part book and show opinions. Whatever tips my fancy to espouse about will be espoused about.
